Reblogging because some people still seem to think that Dan Savage is on our side. No. He’s one of those “I’m gay, so it’s okay for me to say horribly offensive things!” people that you know I love so much.

It’s a shame that he can’t take his more thoughtful moments and his own bad experiences, and turn that into empathy and understanding for others. He has made *some* good points about homophobia, but that really doesn’t make up for being the “privilege denying dude” in every other way.
